Emmaculate is a bright, cheerful seven-year-old girl from Kenya. She lives with her single mother, who is a domestic worker.
At the age of four, Emmaculate was diagnosed with hearing loss. The doctors recommended hearing aids, but the cost was far beyond their reach. Emmaculate is in a school for the hearing-impaired, but still faces challenges when communicating with others outside of school.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Emmaculate. They request $1,171 to fund the cost of hearing aids for her.
