Ploy is a 16-year-old teenage girl from Thailand. She lives with her family and is currently in 10th grade. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and playing with her cat.
In May 2024, Ploy began experiencing pain and numbness in her right leg. Later, a mass started to develop on her right hip. Ploy experiences pain, itchiness, and numbness in her right leg, and she finds it difficult to fall asleep due to fear of accidentally rolling onto the mass. The mass is continuously growing and causes a burning sensation at its site.
Ploy sought treatment through our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund. She is scheduled to undergo mass removal surgery on July 19th and needs $1,500 to cover the total cost of her procedure and care.
Ploy said, “Thank you, Watsi, for helping me get treatment. After I fully recover, I will help my parents by cleaning the house and doing other household chores.”
