Boyd is a 64-year-old farmer from Malawi. He is married with three children. Boyd likes listening to gospel music and enjoys eating nsima, a local porridge, served with beans.
In April this year, Boyd was diagnosed with a right inguinal hernia. He has been experiencing swelling and pain, that have been increasing in intensity. His daughter brought him to the hospital to seek treatment and doctors advised that Boyd needs surgery.
Fortunately, on August 28th, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at Partners in Hope Medical Center. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $575 to fund Boyd’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Boyd happily said, “I am very happy to have this opportunity in my life, I have all the hope that all will be well after surgery to enable me to go back to my way of life without any problems.
