Rahel is the oldest of four children and lives with her family
in Tanzania. She helps her mother around the house while her
father works as a security guard to support their family.
Rahel is like any other 13-year-old girl: she’s in the sixth
grade, is doing her best at school and loves playing with her
friends.

knee. She walks with an abnormal gait, and if left untreated,
she could develop osteoarthritis - a serious joint disorder.
Rahel’s family can barely cover their day-to-day expenses, so
she needs our help to raise the $400 for corrective surgery. Let’s work together to raise the money to give Rahel a chance to stand tall!
