Catherine is a mother of six from Malawi. She lives with her husband, six kids, and one grandchild. She owns a small farm and enjoys attending church in her free time.
Since November of last year, Catherine has been experiencing loss of blood. She has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $650 to fund Catherine’s surgery. On October 11, she will undergo gynecological surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner’s care center. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and seven nights of hospital stay. She will be happy when her body is healthy again and she can return to caring for her home and family.
She says, “I will have peace of mind and good health after this surgery. Thank you so much for this program!”
