Mucunguzi is a child from Uganda. He is the second born in a family of three children. He is in pre-school and dreams of becoming an police officer in the future. His mother is a farmer, and his father is a motorcycle taxi driver.
For two years, Mucunguzi has had an umbilical hernia and a bilateral inguinal hernia. The hernias are growing in size and causing him pain and discomfort. Fortunately, on March 7, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Mucunguzi’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Mucunguzi’s father says, “My son’s condition needs surgery and I am unable to pay for his treatment.’’
