Nyakairu is a 40-year-old woman from Uganda. She is a mother of three. She owns a retail shop, and her husband is a taxi driver.
Nyakairu’s three children were all delivered via C-section. She is now pregnant with a fourth child and has been advised to undergo another C-section. She cannot afford the procedure on her own, so she visited our medical partner’s care center in search of help.
Nyakairu’s expected delivery date is April 24. She needs help to fund this $280 procedure. After surgery, she looks forward to resuming work and raising her new baby.
Nyakairu says, “After surgery, I will continue with my retail shop as well as taking care of my family.”
