Ahumuza is a baby from Uganda. All his siblings are in primary school. Ahumuza loves eating rice with groundnuts and drinking milk. His father is a taxi driver, and his mother is a farmer.
Since birth, Ahumuza has had an inguinal hernia. This hernia is increasing in size and causing him to vomit after meals. Fortunately, on May 9, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Ahumuza’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His father says, “I am worried about my son’s condition and the doctor said he will only benefit from surgery. We as parents are unable to pay for it. We need help from Watsi.”
