Nancy is a 26-year-old mother of two who lives with her husband and children in Kenya. Nancy is a farmer, growing maize, beans, vegetables and sugarcane for personal use. Her husband does contract work that allows him to provide basic necessities for the family.
Nancy is pregnant with her third child but is experiencing morning sickness, getting sick from the time she wakes until mid-day. This makes it difficult for her to eat and interrupts her daily activities.
For $215, we can give Nancy a safe delivery in a health facility attended to by a skilled clinician. “I always end my day with a positive thought. Even though I know I cannot meet the expenses needed for my treatment, I do hope and pray that things will get better,” says Nancy. With treatment, Nancy will receive better health care services and post-treatment care for both her and the baby. Let’s support Nancy and her family as they welcome a new baby!
