Barekye is a small scale farmer from Uganda. He is married and a father of ten children, three are married, five in school and two dropped out of school due to his inability to pay for their school fees. Both Barekye and his wife survive on small scale farming.
Barekye presented with a progressive neck mass swelling that he has had for the past ten years that causes him discomfort upon swallowing.
Barekye traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On August 20, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Barekye needs help to raise $187 to fund this procedure.
Barekye says “I will be glad to see my condition relieved and continue with cultivation after surgery.”
