Kisembo is a businessman from Uganda. He is married and a father of five children.
Two years ago, Kisembo underwent an appendectomy. In the process of healing, he noticed a swelling at the incision site. If not treated, this hernia may result in intestinal tissue damage and blocking. Fortunately, on August 22, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Kisembo’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
He says, “After recovery I will resume working in my shop as a shopkeeper.”
