Dwa Hla is a loving 47-year-old mother of two from Burma. She lives with her husband and youngest daughter. Her husband works as a ticket vendor and her oldest daughter works in Thailand. Dwa Hla takes care of the family chickens and pigs and handles the house chores.
Dwa Hla has an ovarian cyst, and as a result, she has been experiencing sharp, pinching pains on both her sides and down her back. Her stomach gets bloated, making it uncomfortable for her to sit upright. She sometimes has difficulty breathing and experiences pain in her pelvic/abdominal area. Additionally, she feels weak, lightheaded, and occasionally nauseous.
Dwa Hla continues to do her work around the house despite her medical situation, but she says she has to stop when the symptoms get severe. Dwa Hla worries that she is not being a good mother to her daughter because she is sick. Dwa Hla says she would like to be there for her daughter and, when she is better, start a business selling goods she brings in from Thailand to ensure a bright future for her.
For $875, we can help Dwa Hla have surgery to remove the cyst and restore her health.
