Kalyegira is a farmer from Uganda. He is married and a father of five children.
For three years, Kalyegira has had a right reducible inguinal hernia. The hernia causes him a lot of pain, especially when he is working on the farm. Fortunately, on March 14, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Kalyegira’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
He says, “After surgery I will resume farming with my wife. It is our source of food for our family.”
