Esther is a mother of seven and grandmother of one from Malawi. She is married and works as a farmer. She sings in the choir in her free time.
Since January 2018, Esther has been experiencing backache and troubling gynecological symptoms. She has been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $650 to fund Esther’s surgery. On September 7, she will undergo gynecological surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner’s care center. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and seven nights of hospital stay. Esther is very happy and thankful to be receiving this surgery.
