Nay is a 13-year-old boy from Burma. He lives with his grandmother and mother in Karen State, near the border of Burma and Thailand. He is a student and his mother sells snacks near the school by living. His grandmother is retired. In his free time, he loves with help his mother with purchasing things to re-sell it and sometimes play game in the phone. During his free time, he enjoys playing football.
On November 29th, 2025, Nay was helping out at home, when he fell from a chair, causing a fracture on his left arm. He is in pain and unable to move his hand.
With the help of our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF), Nay will undergo surgery to reset his fractured bones and ensure proper healing. The procedure is scheduled for December 4th and will cost $1,500. Bones will be aligned and will allow them to heal properly. Once healed he will able to use his hand to write, play sports and carry out daily activities pain free.
Nay’s grandmother said, “After hearing about the surgery cost we thought about going back to Burma to seek treatment there. However as the injury is bad, the doctors told us the surgery is urgent. Without your support, we don’t know what we would have done. We feel happy donors and BCMF can support my grandson.”
