Lok Na is a sweet ten-year-old girl from a rural village in Cambodia. She loves playing outside with her friends and has a healthy appetite for pork with rice, her favorite meal!
In September of last year, Lok Na dislocated her elbow when she jumped off a cow cart. She was treated by a traditional healer in her village, but still experiences pain and a lot of difficulty doing regular everyday tasks like getting dressed and eating.
The surgery to fix Lok Na’s elbow and restore mobility to her arm costs only $350. Lok Na will eagerly do her part in traveling the 1.5 hours to Children’s Surgical Centre to get the procedure; let’s do ours by making sure it can happen!
