Mujuni is a student from Uganda. He is ten years old and has four siblings. He is in second grade. His parents are small-scale farmers.
For two years, Mujuni has had a right inguinal scrotal hernia. This causes him pain and prevents him from attending school. If not treated, the hernia may lead to intestinal obstruction. Fortunately, on March 6, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Mujuni’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Mujuni’s mother says, “I hope my son will get better and he continues with schooling and I too continue with cultivation.”
