Kam is a 57-year-old man from Burma. He lives with his wife, his son, and his daughter in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, Thailand. He is a hop vendor, while his wife is a homemaker. Both their children go to a migrant school in Mae Sot. On the 4th of April 2026, Kam bought different vegetables from the main shop to sell them by the roadside. On the way to the market, a truck came behind him and suddenly hit him, making him lose consciousness. He woke up at our medical partner's care center, where an x-ray which revealed that his left femur is fractured and he needs surgery for it to heal properly. He is in pain, and he cannot move his left leg. His right arm is also in pain, and he cannot walk or stand up. With the help of our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, Kam will undergo surgery to reset his fractured bones and ensure proper healing. The procedure is scheduled for May 7th and will cost $1,500. This procedure will help Kam to be able to walk and be free from pain so that he will be able to return to his work and support his family. Kam said, "I really need your help at this moment, and I have no one and no money to help me now. Thank you very much for your support."

Heziel is a 48-year-old security guard from Malawi. He is married with seven children, three of whom are married and three still in school. Since 2017, Heziel has been living with an epigastric hernia, experiencing persistent pain and intermittent swelling that worsens during coughing or strenuous activity. Over the years, he sought care from different hospitals without lasting improvement, and despite being scheduled for surgery, he faced repeated delays. His condition has since worsened to the point where he has had to stop reporting for work. Fortunately, on May 6th, Heziel will undergo hernia repair surgery with the help of our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare. He is raising $575 to fund the surgery, which will allow him to live more comfortably and confidently. "Reaching this far, you are my last hope; I have been hearing a lot about the donor program, and I think this is now my time to receive my healing. Kindly consider me," said Heziel.

Ei is a 12-year-old girl from Burma. She lives with her parents, younger brother, and younger sister in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, Thailand. Originally from Yangon Division, Burma, the family moved to Thailand in 2021 in search of better job opportunities. Ei's father works in a sewing factory, while her mother is a homemaker. Both Ei and her younger brother attend a migrant school, while her younger sister is too young to attend school. The family lives in the dormitory of her father's workplace. In her free time, Ei enjoys learning Thai and English and doing her schoolwork. Ei was diagnosed with traumatic cataract of her right eye. She is experiencing blurred vision in her right eye, and she can only see objects close to her. She also suffers from right eye pain, is sensitive to light, and has to wear sunglasses when outside. Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is requesting $1,500 to fund lens replacement surgery for Ei. On May 21st, doctors will perform a lens replacement, during which they will remove Ei's natural lenses and replace them with an intraocular lens implant in each eye. After recovery, she will be able to see clearly. Now, she needs help to fund this $1,500 procedure. Ei's father expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much to this organisation and the donors for helping with my daughter's treatment costs. We feel immense happiness for your support, which relieves the hardship of our family. Without your help, we could not afford her surgery, and we almost decided to postpone her surgery.
