Berry is a 26-year-old woman from Burma. She lives with her parents, husband, sister, and son in a refugee camp in Tak Province, Thailand. Berry is a homemaker. Her father and husband work in the camp. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, watching short videos on YouTube, and listening to songs on her phone. Berry is currently expecting her second child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child. Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is helping Berry undergo a C-Section on September 10th at our medical partner's care center, Tha Song Yang Hospital. This procedure will cost $1500, and Berry needs your support. Berry said, “I know that I need to go through a C-section, but we cannot afford it. My husband and father’s income is just enough to cover daily expenses. When the time is near for giving birth, I cannot sleep at night thinking about where I can borrow money from. The people I know in the camp are also struggling with their own lives. Knowing that you can support me makes me happy. Thank you so much for helping me.”

Her husband works as a day laborer, and her mother is retired. In her free time, she loves to weave Karen traditional clothes and spend time with her family. Htee is currently expecting her second child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child. Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is helping Htee undergo a C-Section on November 3rd at our medical partner's care center, Tha Song Yang Hospital. This procedure will cost $1500, and Htee needs your support. Htee said, "Without your help, I could not afford the cost of the surgery. Josephy is a 57-year-old father of five children from Malawi. He is a pastor and also runs a kabaza motorcycle taxi to support his family. Twenty-two years ago, Josephy began to experience troubling symptoms that affected his ability to perform his daily tasks and serve his church. He was diagnosed with haemorrhoids and needs surgery to prevent his symptoms from getting worse. Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Josephy receive treatment. He is scheduled to undergo a hemorrhoidectomy on August 14th. Now, Josephy needs your help to raise $917 to support the cost of the surgery and care. Josephy shared, "I have suffered and have no other option other than seeking support for me to get rid of the entire problem; I just need to get better; you are my last hope to save my life."
