Alituha is an eight-year-old student from Uganda. He works hard in school and wants to become a police officer in the future.
When Alituha was two years old, he developed a swelling in his scrotum that continued to grow and become painful over time. His parents became worried and took him to a local hospital where Alituha was diagnosed with a right hydrocele, and advised to undergo corrective surgery.
Seeking treatment through our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, Alituha is scheduled to undergo surgery to correct his condition on July 12. His family is requesting $185 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
“My son after surgery will resume his studies and will have good health,” his father says.
