Akora is a farmer from Uganda. He is married and a father of four children.
For three months, Akora has had an epigastric hernia. This hernia causes him weakness and pain and if not treated, it may result intestinal tissue damage. Fortunately, on September 19, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.

He says, “After surgery I will resume working in my fields with my wife.”
