Mukiza is a farmer from Uganda. He is married and a father of four children. Mukiza and his wife produce food for both home consumption and for sale.
For two years, Mukiza has had a left reducible inguinal scrotal hernia. The hernia is increasing in size. If not treated, it may cause pain, discomfort, and tissue twisting or blocking. Fortunately, on February 8, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Mukiza’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
He says, “I help to have surgery such that after recovery I can continue with my farming and be able to provide my family with enough food for home consumption.’’
