Bwambale is a child from Uganda. He is the second born in a family of two boys. Both he and his brother are too young for school. Bwambale loves eating rice and drinking milk. His parents are both farmers. They cultivate food for both home consumption and for sale.
Since he was born, Bwambale has had a right inguinal scrotal hernia. The hernia is increasing in size as time goes by. If not treated, it may cause pain and discomfort. Fortunately, on February 8, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Bwambale’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His mother says, “The doctor told me that the only treatment for my son is surgery. I am unable to pay for it. I need help.’’
