Tusingwire is a five-year-old boy from Uganda who loves to play. Recently, Tusingwire has been diagnosed with an advanced left inguinal hernia, causing him swelling in his inguinal region and a lot of pain. Tusingwire’s parents are farmers who make minimal income, and are unable to pay for his treatment.
For only $249, Tusingwire will have the surgery he needs to treat his hernia and live a pain-free rest of his childhood.
Tusingwire’s mother says, “I am concerned about my child’s health,” and is hoping Tusingwire will soon be pain-free.

Tusingwire underwent successful hernia repair surgery.
He is no longer at risk of strangulation of the hernia. After recovery, he will be able to play and attend school regularly.
His mother says, “Tusingwire looks fine. He has appetite, and he looks happy. After his recovery, I hope he will be able to attend school on a regular basis and do well in class. I am very grateful to everyone who has given me support in one way or another, most especially the people who have paid for my son’s surgery. I pray for God’s blessings upon each person.”
