Sar, from Burma, lives with her husband, her mother, and other family members in a refugee camp in Thailand. Her family members are agricultural day laborers. In her free time, she loves to play with her nieces and her nephew.
Sar is currently expecting her first child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section due to pre-eclampsia. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is helping Sar undergo a C-Section on October 30th at our medical partner’s care center, Tha Song Yang Hospital. This procedure will cost $1,500, and Sar needs your support.
Sar’s mother said, “We were told to prepare money for my daughter’s surgery, but our work is just enough to cover our daily expenses. Thank you for helping Sar and our family.”
