Muhimbo is a child from Uganda. He is 12 years old and an only child. Muhimbo is in fifth grade. He is the team captain for his class football team.
About ten years ago, Muhimbo developed a left inguinal hernia. Due to the swelling, Mugisa is unable to walk long distances. Fortunately, on April 18, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Muhimbo’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Muhimbo says, “After surgery I will resume playing football and support my class team.”
