Myint is a 59-year-old woman from Burma who moved to Thailand with her two daughters. Myint does not work, but her daughters sell dried fish and shrimp to earn an income. During her free time, Myint likes to go for a walk in her neighborhood.
On August 30th, 2025, Myint slipped, hit a chair, and was injured. An X-ray revealed a right pelvic fracture. Myint experiences significant pain in her right pelvis, which prevents her from walking. She has to rely on her daughters for her daily activities.
With the help of our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF), Myint will undergo surgery to reset her fractured bones and ensure proper healing. The procedure is scheduled for September 4th and will cost $1,500. The surgery is expected to relieve her pain and help her walk easily again.
Myint’s daughter said, “Thank you to BCMF and the donors for supporting my mother’s operation costs. This devastating accident left us depressed and stressed, but your generosity has brought us relief. I wish you all good health and the strength to continue helping those who need medical care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you for your kindness.”
