Daudi is an elderly man from Kenya. He relocated to Kenya from Tanzania in 1982 and settled on the southern shores of Lake Victoria, where he made friends and worked as a shepherd.
In January 2017, Daudi developed a cataract in right eye, causing him blurry vision. A cataract occurs when the lens of the eye becomes opaque, blurring vision. He is not able to see clearly, and this is affecting his work performance.
Fortunately, Daudi is scheduled to undergo cataract surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Surgeons will remove and replace the blurred lens. After recovery, he will be able to see clearly. Now, he needs help to fund this $220 procedure.
Daudi says, “I wish to be treated and regain my sight. I cannot do anything on my own. Kindly assist me.”
