According to his doctors at our medical partner in Ethiopia, six-month-old Ali is a joyful little boy. However Ali’s life is far from easy. He was born with a rare and complicated congenital condition wherein the bladder develops partially outside of the body. As a result, urine leaks directly into Ali’s kidneys and he has a large wound that causes him constant pain.
Ali’s mother traveled from neighboring Somalia in the hopes that our medical partner could help Ali, but after the expense of the journey she cannot afford the treatment Ali needs. “Ali is a happy and playful child” she said. “And I believe that once he is treated he will grow up to be a great man in future.”
With your help, Ali will receive the specialized care he needs to grow up healthy and happy.
