38-year-old Emiliana is a mother and tailor in her rural community on the Guatemalan Pacific coast. She lives with her family in a home made of bamboo and tin. She will need a more invasive biopsy in order to make sure she does not need chemotherapy or radiation. Emiliana is very grateful for the support she has gotten and feels positive about continuing her treatment.
She says, “Thanks to God and to the donors for the support, I know that I am going to recover, and that everything will go well so I can be with my children for more time.”
