Mbabazi is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with two children, and both are in school. Mbabazi’s husband is a night watchman.
For six months, Mbabazi has had an umblical hernia. The hernia causes her discomfort and if not treated, it may lead to hernia twisting and blocking. Fortunately, on March 8, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Mbabazi’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
Mbabazi says, “I hope to get better after surgery and I continue with my farming.”
