Byamukama is a young student from Uganda. He is the third born in a family of four children. His parents are farmers.
Since birth, Byamukama has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area. This hydrocele causes him pain and discomfort and if not treated soon, it may impact his school performance and attendance. Fortunately, on October 10, he will undergo hydrocele repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $185 to fund Byamukama’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
His mother says, “After my son’s surgery, I will have peace and my son will resume with education.”

Byamukama underwent repair surgery.
Byamukama’s orchidopexy repair was a success. He is no longer in pain and discomfort.
His mother says, “My son is now OK. He can eat, drink, get out of bed and walk around. Thank you very much for the great work done in my son’s life. I was unable to pay for his treatment but the Lord has answered my prayers through His people of good will. After Byamukama’s recovery he will resume with education and he will no longer miss school. God bless you.”
