Rangi is unfortunately not going to receive the treatment you funded, so we've just sent you a gift card in the amount of your donation.
We have an important update on her treatment plan.
Unexpectedly, after Rangi’s treatment was funded on Watsi, our medical partner could not contact Rangi and her family to schedule her surgery.
Because your donation will no longer be used to fund Rangi’s care, it’s important to us that you decide where your money goes next.
We’ve just emailed you a Watsi gift card for the same amount as your donation to Rangi. We’d love for you to use this gift card to support another Watsi patient of your choice. But if you do not want to reallocate your donation to another patient, we’ll gladly refund your contribution.
Thanks again for supporting Watsi patients, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate it.
Rangi is a 9-year-old girl from Nepal with rheumatic heart disease. She suffers from shortness of breath and heart palpitations, especially when walking or doing any other kind of activity. She needs surgery to correct her condition and enable her to live a normal, healthy life.
Rangi lives with her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. She is very bright and was admitted into a good school just a few months ago, but had to stop attending because of her poor health. Her family farms for a living, but they do not make nearly enough money to pay for the medical care Rangi needs.
Rangi loves to play with her friends when she is feeling well enough and can’t wait to get treatment so she can go back to living a normal life. Let’s make it happen for her!
