Lesvia is a 14-month-old baby girl from Guatemala. Her parents are agricultural workers. Lesvia loves eating oranges and playing with her big sister.
Lesvia was recently diagnosed with malnutrition. She has little energy to grow, and her immune system is weak and vulnerable to illness. She is also at risk of chronic disease and delayed development.

Our medical partner, Wuqu’ Kawoq, is asking for $437 to fund Lesvia’s nutritional supplements, medications, and an educational program that will teach her mother how to create a nutrient-rich diet using limited resources.
“I am happy now that Lesvia is going to be able to eat better,” says Lesvia’s mother.
