Allan is a 19-year-old from Uganda. He comes from a family of five children and is the only boy among four sisters. He left school and began making bricks to earn a living, a trade he continues to practice today. However, due to his current health condition, performing such physically demanding work has become increasingly difficult.
Nine years ago, Allan started to experience swelling in a sensitive area in his body. When it started, the swelling caused minimal discomfort, and because the pain was bearable, he did not seek medical attention. Over the years, the swelling persisted and gradually became more problematic.
Allan was diagnosed with a hydrocele and is scheduled to undergo corrective surgery on September 8th. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $146 to fund Allan’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Allan says, “I no longer even work because of the pain. The swelling causes me a lot of pain. I kindly appeal to you for support for the success of my surgery so that I can also be given a second chance in life to live a normal and healthy life.”
