David is a one-year-old baby boy living in Kenya with his family. He is the youngest of two children and was born with bilateral undescended testes, which means that his testes cannot be found in his scrotum. If the condition goes untreated, David will be at risk for developing cancer and may be unable to have children.
“The possibility of my son developing cancer has been very scary!!! I pray and hope that we’ll get support so that his treatment happens as soon as possible,” says David’s dad. But the family lives in a single-room rental home and have no land of their own to till. David’s dad works as a casual laborer to support the family. The cost of the surgery which David needs, a bilateral orchidopexy, is well out of reach.
With $655, we can ensure that baby David stays cancer free and is able to have a family of his own one day. What are we waiting for?
