Natumanya is a baby from Uganda. He is the youngest of four children. His two older siblings are in school. His parents are farmers.
For seven months, Natumanya has had an inguinal hernia. The hernia is painful and growing in size. If not treated, it may result in tissue blockage and strangulation. Fortunately, on May 9, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $249 to fund Natumanya’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
His mother says, “After surgery my son will no longer cry at night because what has been disturbing him has been removed.”
