Emmanuel is a 12-year-old boy from Kenya who lives with his parents and two siblings. Emmanuel’s mother runs a charcoal-selling business from their home, and his father drives a motorcycle taxi to supplement the family’s income.
Emmanuel has a malformation in a sensitive area. Fortunately, on March 17, Emmanuel will undergo a single orchidopexy at our medical partner’s care center, Bethany Kids Kijabe Hospital (BKKH). This surgical procedure will help relieve his pain and resolve the malformation.
Unfortunately, Emmanuel’s family is currently unable to raise the funds needed for his surgical care. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $535 for Emmanuel’s treatment. This will pay for his surgery, pain medications, and three nights in the hospital.
“Please help us,” says Emmanuel’s mother.
