Reponse is a two-year-old boy from Burundi. His parents work hard and engage in casual jobs to support Reponse and his twin brother. However, both Reponse and his brother are experiencing challenges with their health.
Three weeks ago, Reponse was diagnosed with a left inguinal hernia. Since then, he has known nothing but pain, crying, and discomfort. His mother tried to give him different kinds of medications, but none of them worked.
Fortunately, on October 2nd, Reponse will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center, Kibuye Hope Hospital. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is requesting $197 to fund Reponse’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Reponse’s mother shared, “I have nothing left but my prayers and my two boys. I stay up every night listening to them cry from the pain. Please help my twins. Help me give them the surgery so they can grow up without pain.”
