Judith is a 44-year-old mother of four from Uganda. She and her husband are both small-scale farmers. During her free time, she enjoys praying and singing gospel songs.
Judith has been experiencing severe pain on the right side of her abdomen, accompanied by nausea and vomiting. The pain became so severe that she could hardly eat and was unable to carry out her usual daily activities. She was diagnosed with chronic appendicitis and needs surgery to prevent her symptoms from getting worse.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Judith receive treatment. On November 5th, she is scheduled to undergo an appendectomy that will address her symptoms and prevent future health complications. This procedure will cost $297, and Judith and her family need your support.
Judith says, “The pain has become too much for me. I can hardly eat or carry out my normal activities, and I am worried about what might happen if I do not get the operation. I have spent much of my time looking after my sick mother in Mbarara, and I never expected that I would also become sick and need surgery. My husband and I depend on farming, and what we earn is not enough to meet all our family needs. We are still struggling to complete our house and have loans to pay. I humbly appeal to the donors to help me receive the operation I need. I want to be free from this pain, regain my strength, and return to caring for my children and family. May God bless you for your kindness.”
