Danis is a vibrant 6-year-old girl from Colombia living with her mother and brother. She is full of energy and loves playing soccer and educational games. Her favorite meal is stewed chicken with rice and fried potatoes.
Danis has been diagnosed with an umbilical hernia and is awaiting a surgical procedure called herniorrhaphy, which will significantly improve her quality of life. The surgery will allow her to participate in activities she loves, such as sports like soccer or athletics, without fear of injury. Despite having only one kidney, Danis has excellent physical performance and dreams of continuing to play and excel in sports.
Our medical partner, Clinica Noel, is helping Danis receive surgery. On February 3rd, Danis will undergo corrective surgery that will greatly impact her quality of life. Now, Danis needs your help to fund this $786 procedure.
Danis’ mother shared her hopes for the surgery: “As a mother, I want to feel confident that the treatment will be successful and that there are no significant risks for the future. In addition to physical recovery, I hope my daughter feels emotionally supported and is able to resume her daily activities, such as playing, studying, or practicing sports, without limitations.”
