Prosneat is a seventh grader from Cambodia. In his free time, he loves to swim in the river with his friends and take his cow on walks.
When Prosneat was two years old, he accidentally put his hand in a cooking fire at his house, badly burning his hand and arm. Burn scar contractures have developed on his fingers, making it difficult to use his fingers and hand.
When Prosneat learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for four hours seeking treatment. On September 7, surgeons at CSC will perform a burn contracture release surgery to to help him restore function in his hand. Now, he needs help to fund this $448 procedure.
He says, “I want to be able to play games with my friends.”
