Heang is a construction worker from Cambodia. He has been married for seven years and has one son. He likes to watch boxing matches and play video games.
Four years ago, he was in a road traffic accident that caused a cervical spine fracture. He has developed a chronic open wound on his buttock. He is in chronic pain from the wound.
When Heang learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for one hour seeking treatment. On April 26, surgeons at CSC will perform a debridement procedure to to remove damaged and infected tissue from the wound. Now, Heang needs help to fund this $262 procedure.
He says, “I hope after operation, my wound heals and I am in no more pain.”
