Hellen is a 33-year-old teacher from Uganda. Growing up, Hellen was hardworking, determined, ambitious, and focused. She successfully completed her studies, graduating as a Grade III primary school teacher. She now works at a primary school, earning about USD 45 per month. Her husband is also a teacher at the same school. Together, they work hard to support their family, but their combined income is only enough to cover basic household needs and is insufficient to meet unexpected medical expenses..
Hellen is currently expecting her third child. Her doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section due to a high-risk pregnancy. This way, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Hellen undergo a C-Section on September 3rd. This procedure will cost $252, and Hellen needs your support.
Hellen says, “Even though both of us work, our income is only enough to sustain us as a family, but can’t enable us raise the money they need for my surgery. I kindly seek your support.”
