Chamroeurn is a construction worker from Cambodia. He has four siblings and is the second oldest. He enjoys gardening in his free time. He particularly likes tending to his mango and banana trees.
Eight years ago, his hand was burned by a fire. Burn scar contractures have developed, tightening the skin around the burn. It is difficult for him to use his hand.
When Chamroeurn learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for three hours seeking treatment. On February 8, surgeons at CSC will perform a burn contracture release surgery to to use his hand again. Now, he needs help to fund this $448 procedure.
He says, “I look forward to going home and gardening again.”
