Elisha was born at his home on September 12, 2015 in Tanzania. He was born without an anal opening. Due to this condition, he was quickly rushed to the hospital where an emergency colostomy was done. Six months later, Elisha got financial support to have a second surgery, which was successfully. He now needs colostomy closure to be done.
Elisha is a happy and active baby. His mother is a small scale farmer and his father does business of selling second hand clothes. They work hard to care for their children. With three of them going to school, coming up with enough money to cover the cost of operation has been difficult.
$975 will fund the surgery Elisha needs to fully recover from his condition. “I will be so happy the day that my son will be able to pass stool like other children,” shared Elisha’s mother.
