Maxwell is a three-year-old boy from Kenya.
Maxwell was diagnosed with cryptorchidism, a condition in which one or both of the testicles remain undescended. If left untreated, Maxwell has an increased risk of developing hernias, testicular cancer, and fertility problems in the future.
Maxwell will be receiving assistance from our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH). Fortunately, he is scheduled to undergo corrective surgery on July 15th. AMH is requesting $470 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
Maxwell’s mother shared, “It has been tough going in and out of the hospital without getting help. However, I am hopeful that this surgery will solve my son’s situation, allowing him to join school next year.”
