Nasiri is a young student from Tanzania. He is the youngest child in a family of two. He is in third grade, and his best subjects are mathematics and drawing. Nasiri loves playing football with his friends.
For some years, Nasiri has been experiencing difficulty sleeping and breathing. This is affecting his sleep and making playing difficult since he often has to breath through his mouth. Nasiri was recently diagnosed with enlarged tonsils, which, if not treated, will cause his symptoms to persist and possibly intensify over time.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $633 to fund a tonsillectomy for Nasiri, which is scheduled to take place on October 19. Surgeons will remove his tonsils, hopefully relieving Nasiri of his symptoms and helping him live more comfortably.
Nasiri’s mother says, “Please help my son get the needed surgery because we can’t afford the cost even though we want him to get better.”
