“I am very thankful to Watsi,” Zefania shares. A 68-year-old farmer, Zefania lives with his wife in a village in central Malawi. Together they have six children and 17 grandchildren. When he is not working on his farm, Zefania likes to sweep the house and chat with his friends.
For the past year, Zefania he been experiencing pain and difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate. His condition requires surgery to remove excess tissue, but he has been unable to afford the treatment. Fortunately, through our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, Zefania is scheduled for surgery on February 22.
World Altering Medicine has requested $733 for Zefania’s surgery and hospital stay. The treatment is expected to relieve Zefania’s symptoms quickly. He is very grateful for the assistance, and his family is excited for him to return home.
