Meleka is a 78-year-old farmer from a village in Malawi. He lives with his large family and farms soybeans and groundnuts. Meleka enjoys making toys for his many grandchildren. He is also a leader in his village, so he spends much of his time responding to village issues.
Recently, Meleka developed a hernia. He underwent repair surgery at our medical partner’s hospital, Nkhoma District Hospital, on November 15. Now, he needs help to fund this $327 procedure.
Meleka is excited to recover and return to his family, farm, and village duties. “Thanks to God and Watsi,” he says.
